WAR GAMES

A war invention
new violation
rape this land
it's our creation

Enlist the strongest
make this war the longest
let's kill them all
here comes your call

A war invention
blood bath convention
you'll all be dead
that's the intention

Work for their greed
be prepared to bleed
donate your life
to do their deeds

A war invention
no time to mention
how we'll all die
in a war camp's detention

With our long killing list
this is the end of innocence.
Come and gather, one and all
pay for playing, watch the humans fall.

AGING

I tried to get the world to wait
to listen to our ancient complaint.
Our lives were rejected baby's wet nurse
we laugh a kiss and smile a curse.
I promise not to go off and hide
I'll be here to smile and confide.
Closed eyes still block out that room
in my dying bed, I smell your perfume
We're in the spotlite of all their concern
under a magnifier, we wilt an burn.
I laugh at my own obituary.

NEVER

There's nothing left for me
I look into the sun
I scream and curse you reality
there will never be another one.

I know now I'll never be
what I once could have been.
Look at what we can see
in the depth of our hidden sin.

Silver eyes burnt into forever
the wasting of the days drags on
Remember when we said it'd be never
but now our time's been dead so long.

Love letter paper cuts on a sullen heart
inside all is decaying and dry
it was empty from the start.
Was there even a reason to start?
